They can close an account but I think they have to give you your money. She’s probably got it waiting for her at the bank in the form of a cashier’s check. Once she gets it, she needs to find a nice little small town bank to put it in.

Once she gets it, she needs to find a nice little small town bank to put it in. After the BOA fiasco my wife and I went through, we switched our six figure accounts to a local credit union.
Couldn't be happier. You get way better service from a local bank and they don't care about your politics.
