That first happened to me a few years back. I had a friend over to grill some steaks and I was telling him about some thoughts I had for a fence to section off sections of my yard.
That evening I got online and ads started popping up from Home Depot with "fencing solutions."
It creeped me out, and still does.
I had a young adult telling me a similar story (about how she started getting ads for something she’d merely discussed NEAR her cell phone) and she thought it was funny...
Some people are truly stupid.
