As recently reported by Human Events News, a battalion commander by the name of Andrew Rhodes is on a mission to infect the army with woke fever.
Rhodes, commander of the 1-8 Infantry – “Fighting Eagles,” ran a private, “woke,” left-wing Twitter account under the name “Dru.”
Rhodes tweeted repeatedly that he supported military leaders using social media. He promptly deleted his account once Human Events began reading it. Rhodes tweeted that he does not support the UCMJ, a major violation for any military official. He also tweeted his opposition to teaching Army Values, because in his view, the Army is not doing ‘enough’ to increase diversity and specifically lashed out at those who say “We’re all the same, we all bleed green.” What’s more, he reportedly said – at a military function – that if you’re white, you’re part of the problem.
“If you’re a white male, you are part of the problem,” Rhodes reportedly said.
Luckily, nothing is ever really deleted off the internet.

I wonder in which direction his career will go. It isn’t my Army any more, hasn’t been since the 90’s. But we saw it coming.
Reminds me of a battalion commander I served under in Korea. Willing to do anything to get promotion to O6. Threatened me with adverse OER twice. Revenge was sweet.

Of course Andrew Rhodes doesn’t believe in the Uniformed Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) - he’s giving aid to the enemy.
He is apparently a Marxist of the kind they promoted during the Obama years. He should be court marshaled and kicked out.

Well thank goodness the Biden administration had the foresight to create the military commission on extremism. I’m sure the commission will be looking at this extremist. If they can document this extremism it will definitely be worth a couple of promotions for this guy. Seems like he’d fit in nicely at NSC.

Paid off by China? The woke military is a joke. Even other military in NATO countries and countries like France look down and much them.
He is an example of the type of Woke military who will be coming for patriotic Americans, and particularly White male Christians and conservatives.
Doesn’t this creature Dru Rhodes have a chain of command he has to report to? Are his superiors sitting on their hands? Are his superiors incapable of giving him corrective instruction?
Apparently his superiors are exactly like him.......................

Used to be the masses joined the Armed Forces (ie: you join, we break you down and build you back as a soldier/marine/sailor/airman)
Now the Armed Forces want to join the the masses. That’s not how it works.
When the shooting starts, that will be painfully evident.

I have come to the realization I really have to fear for my country’s future.
The Lord is well-able to intervene and save our Republic. I doubt we can save it using secular organizations and methods; too far gone for that.
Regardless, we all still have one doable task: take care of our families in the coming difficulties.
