LONDON - When U.S. President Joe Biden flies to Europe this week, he will find his hosts welcoming but wary. His predecessor Donald Trump may be gone, but he leaves a long shadow.
Biden’s first foreign trip as president starts Wednesday and includes a gathering of the Group of Seven wealthy nations by the seaside in southwest England, a NATO summit, a meeting with European Union chiefs, and then a tete-a-tete in Geneva with his Russian counterpart and adversary, Vladimir Putin.
For most of America’s allies, Biden is a relief. Trump often sowed chaos, accusing the NATO military alliance of leeching off the United States, insulting the European Union and storming out of a G-7 summit in Canada in 2018. In contrast, Biden has stressed his support for international diplomacy and emphasized “America’s renewed commitment to our allies and partners” in a recent Washington Post article.
“I think we can expect to see lots of rhetoric and lots of good-vibe messages in this first visit of Biden to Europe,” said Renata Dwan, deputy director of international affairs think tank Chatham House.

You are so right. But it also is preparing and covering Biden for his trip in front of Putin. Biden has nothing to use for diplomacy with Putin. I honestly believe that the only reason Putin is going to talk to Biden is to display him as the true idiot he has become...publicly. Biden is lining up a trip to accomplish only one thing, what he has to give away which will display our soft and yielding governmental philosophy the liberal party has finally forced upon the US.
The libs will call it a diplomatic victory when we openly submit to Putin’s desires. And organizations like the AP will call for a ticker tape parade to celebrate our demise.

Tax dollars. That is hilarious. They don’t have any tax dollars to spend. They are using deficit dollars. They could never spend the kind of money they spend if they had to get it from taxes. People would never allow it. But they can create dollars using the debt ceiling and spend them as much as they want and people are blissfully unaware that their grandchildren will be living in tents under the freeway because they won’t be able to afford to pay it all back. It’s too abstract. It’s like living on credit cards. You don’t know you are screwed until you can’t make the payments.
