Trump was very much an anti-Bezos (Amazon) politician, and Microsoft, specifically made a lot of headway into the federal government space during his tenure.
Democrats are notoriously pro-Google, and there are a scant few, albeit substantial, federal agencies running completely on G-Suite. Amazon still commands the highest consumption of cloud resources across the federal government space while Microsoft is in the driver seat for modern workplace applications such as email.
