What happens then?

I suppose the idea of restoring our Constitutional Republic never crossed your tiny little mind?

There is nothing wrong with our Constitution and the Institutions and laws created under it.

The problem is we STOPPED using it back around 1918 and have been drifting ever further from it ever since...

I am the delusion one for seeing that a one-man strong armed military dictatorship is not the answer?
Do you know who were once desperate for change? Many of the people of Russia who going into the 20th century were still subjected to serfdom and horrible conditions. They had their revolution. What did they get in return? Stalin. Same with France’s revolution that ended up with Napoleon and the German people suffering from war reparations after WWI who ended up with Hitler.
This never ends well.

Things aren't as universally bad as you claim. The military in Turkey has always played a political role since the founding of the modern Turkish state after WWI. In 1960 the Turkish military deposed a president, and then withdrew again into the background. For many in Chile, Pinochet's regime was better than socialism. As repressive as that regime was, it wasn't close to being Stalin's gulag state. Pilsudski created a reborn Polish state after WWI, and intervened in Polish politics when he felt it appropriate. Polish historians contend he had proposed a preemptive war with the French against Nazi Germany when Hitler first came to power, which the French refused. If things don't always end well, it isn't always because the strong man was bad, but sometimes because the weak men prevailed.

I do have a small mind, compared to you.

It has crossed my mind, We can restore it - just not by means of a military coup.

Dead Corpse: "There you go. Such imaginative use of the language to sway the argument."

No, no, I was not making an argument, I was simply stating facts: if you think you're going to overthrow the U.S. government by illegal use of force then you are a low-life good for nothing scumbag.
That's not an argument, it's a fact.

Dead Corpse: "Fighting in this Country IS coming.
Nothing can stop it now.
This won’t be a military coup, it’ll be another Balkanizing Civil War.
History is repeating."

Any attempted CWII will end even quicker & more disastrously for the rebels than did CWI.
It would be a pointless exercise doing vastly more harm than good.

Dead Corpse:"You can either face that fact, or you can be part of the problem.
I guessing a spineless worm like you appear to be will choose the latter..."

Oh? So there it is -- you're making your argument by calling me names, typical.
The fact is that if you attempt to overthrow the U.S. government by an illegal use of force, the best you could hope for is a very long prison sentence.
More likely would be the same fate as drone-struck terrorists in Godforsakeistan.

When you are this wrong, you should really just stop posting and find something else to do.

Compare your statement above to those once written about us "upstart Colonials". The Brits were just as wrong as you are.

Legitimate according to who? Freepers that don’t agree with the constitutional process for Presidential succession?

Nobody is starting a Civil War. The rubes are perfectly content. Life will go on, and eventually Biden will die or leave office, and the country moves on

You should read our Declaration of Independence sometime.
It includes a list of about two dozen specific complaints, including this one:

Nothing remotely resembling such complaints exists today.

So you compare yourself to our Founders?
Total rubbish!
At best you might hope to compare to the leaders of Shays' Rebellion, the Whiskey Rebellion, or, more likely, Fries's Rebellion -- look them up, they were rebellions against our Founders, put down by our Founders, never amounted to much.

Fraud and ballot stuffing is the constitutional process?

The state legislatures are tasked with establishing election rules. The states executive branch and courts are there to certify that the rules were followed. Most of the contested states are lead by Republicans, so anyone not happy with the election results can vote the people responsible for the process out of office.

The Constitution does not specify how the electors are chosen, just that they are certified by the Governor and Secretary of State, and those votes sent to DC to be counted on 1/6. This happened, and there is nothing that can change that.

We’re still at the Patrick Henry/Sam Adams stage. “Give me liberty”/”May your chains set lightly upon you.”

Next up, a scaled up version of the Battle of Athens, GA.

Already know where a Quisling/Arnold like you will fall.

Dead Corpse: "We’re still at the Patrick Henry/Sam Adams stage. 'Give me liberty'/'May your chains set lightly upon you.' "

Nonsense!
That was in March of 1775 by which time the American Revolution had been gathering for years, arguably for more than a decade.
There was a long list of events, Intolerable Acts, incidents with the Sons of Liberty, Boston Massacre, Boston Tea Party, British revoking Massachusetts' charter of self government, formation of the Continental Congress, open rebellion in North Carolina, Tennessee's own declaration of independence, ships burned or sunk, conflicts with British troops, etc.

By stark contrast, in December 2019 Donald Trump was President and seemed headed for a landslide election victory.
Now we've had one election alleged to be stolen, but Republicans can still win majorities in 2022 and Trump reelection in 2024.
That is a far cry from our situation in March 1775.

Dead Corpse: "Next up, a scaled up version of the Battle of Athens, GA."

The 1946 Battle of Athens was in Tennessee, not Georgia.
It resulted in patriots exposing the ballot-box fraud of incumbent Democrats.
Today it would be the equivalent of Republican poll watchers catching Democrats in the act of stealing votes.
It's still not too late for that to happen in 2022.

Dead Corpse: "Already know where a Quisling/Arnold like you will fall."

You have no clue what you're talking about.
Honest elections are every citizen's birthright and if Democrats can be caught stealing votes, they should be sent to jail for it -- legally.

We are still far, far removed from necessary resorts to illegal violence.

Yes. It is. You don't think this election crap start just this election do you?

Then again, maybe you just aren't that smart...

We are still far, far removed from necessary resorts to illegal violence.

The other side already is enacting violence. In several cities. Retaliatory violence is NOT illegal.

Hide your head in the sand.

When I was a boy, many years ago, some adults told me that Democrats raise up the dead every election day, just long enough for them to vote Democrat, then put them back in their graves until the next time.
I understood then those adults were only half joking.

I also understood that Democrats cheat as much as they can get away with, so the real question is: how much will Republicans let them get away with?
In 2020, under cover of Covid, Democrats got away with a lot.
Whether they can do it again in 2022 & 2024 is yet to be determined.

As for who's smart & who's not -- anybody who thinks they can lead armed rebellion against the government is dumber than dirt, imho.

Dead Corpse: "The other side already is enacting violence.

Sure, if your neighbor attacks your home & threatens your life, then you can defend yourself.
But you cannot assault the government or preemptively attack your neighbors because of what somebody did in some city hundreds of miles away from you.

Everybody knows that, no matter how smart they claim to be.
