TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — The National Black Power Convention is being held in the Greenwood District this weekend.
Organizers are holding a Second Amendment March for Reparations on Saturday afternoon.
Hundreds of people are expected to join in the march to "show support for reparations and justice for Tulsa survivors with an overwhelming show of force."
The theme of the convention is "Reparations Now!"
“The struggle for Reparations must be escalated," a news release from organizers read. "We must fight on every front to achieve redress and Reparations for the atrocities committed upon Tulsa Massacre descendants; and we must intensify the fight to achieve Reparations for all 40-million Blacks still grossly affected by racism, inequality, wealth disparity, police brutality and the like. Tulsa will mark a new beginning in the upgraded fight for Reparations for Black people.”
The following groups are leading the effort:
The Huey P Newton Gun Club (HPNGC) The Elmer Geronimo Pratt Gun Club (EGPGC) The New Black Panther Party for Self- Defense (NBPP) The Fred Hampton Gun Club (FHGC) The New Black Liberation Militia (NBLM) The Panther Special Operations Command (PANSOC) ANUBIS Multiple other groups and private gun owners “We have to take a much stronger approach toward Reparations," said co-leader Nick Bezzel. "We are tired of begging. Our ancestors deserve nothing less than our strongest efforts.”
Organizers are holding a Reparations Rally on Sunday 2-10 p.m. at Standpipe Hill near OSU-Tulsa.
> This is how they started the Tulsa riot in 1921.
SHUSH! You’re not supposed to tell THAT part.
I wonder how many negligent discharges will occur.
I believe that reparations are due to the blacks. The Democrats should be exclusively made to pay.
Are these the Einsteins who shot each other during the protest march last summer?
My advice: Step back, watch and laugh.
Tulsa PD issued the following Traffic Advisory around 5pm local time:
To be clear, this is not an issue with people marching and exercising their 2nd Amendment rights.
This is a traffic issue with a group that received a permit to march during a pre-determined time (6:00 pm) and pre-determined path.
At this time the group is marching through the streets of downtown Tulsa creating traffic issues for motorists.
We are attempting to work with the group to get in compliance with the permit and the traffic regulations.
***End of Update***
Please be advised that there is a significant traffic issue on many streets around the downtown Legacy Fest, the scheduled 2nd Amendment march has gone off of the scheduled path and is now grouping outside of the entrance to the Legacy Fest.
Officials with the Legacy Fest do not want visitors carrying weapons in the Greenwood area and the marchers are demanding entrance into the area.
We are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Personally, I am staying well away from downtown Tulsa.
Our side is "well regulated" and the other side is not. Required by the constitution.
***sold them into slavery to the Europeans and Muslims?***
The Europeans bought them, shipped them to America and put them to work.
The Moslems bought them, castrated them, and then worked them to death. THAT is why the Arabian countries has few blacks to demand “reparations”. They actually had some slave revolts, but there are no descendants from them.
The Left thinks “well regulated” means that individuals need to be buried under a mountain of regulations that will totally infringe their rights.
Well just da*n! My daughter had to go to Tulsa today and is passing through that area.
Meaning ‘well equipped and well trained’.
Repatriation before reparations was a phrase by someone here. Get the crowds to sign a document to that effect before they realize they'll get their checks when they arrive in one of these African paradises....
Old list from 2011----
Note on list: "Terrorism, Smuggling, and Corruption are the major black mark to the countries..." Africa has many different languages and 36% of the people living with less than US$1 per day. Congo is the Poorest Country in the world with an annual income per Capita is the US $300. Burundi was once the poorest country in the world, but its income rose from $300 to $400 in the year 2011 estimated. List of 20 Poorest Countries in Africa Congo, Democratic Republic of the $300 2011 2 Burundi $400 2011 3 Liberia $400 2011 4 Zimbabwe $500 2011 5 Somalia $600 2010
Reparations? No. Lead at 3000 fps.
Didn’t people like this used to be called vigilantes? This has nothing to do with 2nd amendment rights, it’s a threatening show of force.

Yes. Go with that. The Founding Fathers knew the current menaces in the 1770s would have company in the future unknown to them in that era. Not just Great Britain or France and Spain plus Native Americans. So the militia would have to fight off well armed types who attempted takeovers. Not just be ready to stop a mountain lion approaching a farm house.
Right. Waiting periods and impediments have to be cut down by the courts or we have no 2nd Amendment.
Please see no.30 and no.34 here.
But everyone here knows the headline is a lie. Everyone here knows the blax smell free stuffs.
As I recall, those who were victims of this event got reparations in the months that followed.
Accounts at the time also attributed this to communist instigations.
Freeway teardowns are apparently not enough.
Agreed entirely. One of the struggles we’ve had in my local 2A group is getting more black gun owners to show up and give testimony to legislators. It’s easy for the liberal members to ignore a pack of old white guys (basically treat us as though we’re a bunch of redneck idiots). But when we bring more women and more black and hispanic people with us to testify for or against various gun bills, the committee members actually sit and listen. Gotta keep up appearances!
Reparations for Tulsa Riot Survivors ? Well, OK. How many are left from the 1921 riot ? One or two ?
