Yeah. Everybody who isn’t dumb knew that already. Companies can make you get the MMR and can refuse to hire smokers. This was decided decades ago and everybody saying otherwise was talking out their butt.
The difference between the MMR and the so-called Covid Vaccines is that the MMR is actually licensed by the FDA for use as a vaccine. The others are merely authorized for emergency use.
The FDA may eventually license the Covid shots, but that will only happen after the rigorous studies that must take place. Some of those studies may take up to two years to complete.
The two year wait is not mandatory, but it is the logistical reality.
OSHA rules state that if an employer requires the vaccine (which is illegal at this point due to its emergency use status), then the employer is open to liability if the vaccine has negative effects on an employee. It’s a worker’s compensation issue which could cost the employer big $$.
