This statement takes the stated philosophical approach to another level, that of a seasoned citizen who seen it all and will call BS at the first whiff of odor. I’d say we all have that skill and need the focus of a Ron DeSantis to call it as it is while ignoring the turmoil that would keep us from accomplishing the goal.

Excellent article. Just one stylistic / grammatical quibble:

In dealing the pain, Trump was the right man at the right time [...]

I feel that that should instead read "In dealing out the pain..." or "In dealing the pain to [Indirect Object]."

My very liberal ex made this statement about me at our 1st sons wedding. “ He ( meaning me) says inappropriate things at times.” My response was “ Would you like me to say something inappropriate now”. I thought the same, and reread it several times. I think the wording works as is, when you realize that KS means the accomplishments of DeSantis are his version of PDJT’s mean tweets. Read it like this, "No, DeSantis’s accomplishments are his mean tweets".
