In a scathing article published last week on China Daily, an outlet owned by the ruling Communist Party, Thunberg was mocked for her weight and labelled an “environmental princess” after she urged China to do more to address climate change.

“Although she claims to be vegetarian, judging from the results of her growth, her carbon emissions are actually not low,” said the writer, Tang Ge, who originally posted the article on the social media and messaging app WeChat.

She’s now 18. She’s an adult.

Her ‘’cute kid climate warrior’’ sthick is worn out entirely.

She needs to watch her mouth. As I understand liberal and slander suits are far easier to press in Europe than here.

change how food is produced

I'm all for changing how food is produced but not all for a plant based diet or lab grown meat. Just ditch the factory farming method. 90% of the corn produced goes to animal feed, much of it goes to feed lots. We should switch to grass fed beef grown on well managed farms that don't require much machine or chemical inputs. Have the animals processed at smaller processors closer to the farms and cut out the middle man like Cargill. No antibiotics, hormones etc.

There's a guy named Greg Judy a few hundred miles North of me in MO that raises several hundred head of beef cattle and doesn't hardly use a tractor. He hasn't had to use Ivermectin in a decade. He never cuts or burns his pastures. Never has bare soil. He moves the animals fast across the land and the cattle only graze the top 1/3 of the grass. He runs sheep behind them and they eat the stuff the cows won't. The only time he uses his tractor is to plow snow off the field to unroll round bales of hay. He buys hay instead of baling himself because it's a rare thing to have to feed hay. Some years they graze year round. He leases a lot of his pastures and one guy tore up the 5 year lease, gave him his money back and gave him a lifetime lease, free, because he saw how well the land was doing. He can take a shovel full of soil from a field and it will be nice dark brown, crumbly and have a few worms in it.

I wonder how her childhood was stolen. She seems to have gotten through it pretty well. In ten years she will be telling us we stole her young adulthood.
