Wow! Top Chinese academic gloats China won the 'biological war' of 2020

A startling admission that China is fighting a "biological war" with the U.S. comes from a video made by a top Chinese academic, trying to persuade the Chinese people that U.S.'s day is over, that our system is outmoded and unsuccessful, and that China is victorious.

The professor who made the startling claim that China has won the "trade war, science & technology war and especially the biological war" looks like a heavy-duty insider who may well be part of the team that manages China's bid to displace the United States as the world's hegemon.

According to his research profile, Dr. Chen Ping must be in his mid- to late 70s, having started college in 1962. His education must have been interrupted by the Cultural Revolution, probably giving him insight into the domestic turmoil currently hobbling the United States, which he so disparages. The six years he spent getting a PhD in Physics at the University of Texas, Austin in the 1980s don't seem to have predisposed him to admire the freedoms we used to enjoy in this country.

What stands out about Professor Chen's work history is that he is now professor emeritus at Beijing University, China's most prestigious university — where he had proximity to China's ruling communists —  and now has a retirement gig at Fudan University (also highly prestigious) in China's economic capital, Shanghai, where he is "Chair of Academic Committee, Center for New Political Economy."

If True we will never know for sure—they will cover it up so that the US population is ignorant and not demand war or retribution. If we learned Castro had killed JFK the people would have demanded war with Soviet Russia and Cuba. One thing Trump did was rip away the Mask that the US Government always told us the truth.

His title is just to impress the people internally and to beguile naive Westerners - his entire script was written and approved by the CCP, else it would never have occurred. You may as well have asked Xi Jinping.

Don’t equate past results in the West with future results in China. Like predicting that time will turn an apple tree into a peach tree with occasional oranges.

The Chinese system is based on absolute power and absolute control, failure is not tolerated and failed leaders are ‘replaced’ with more ruthless and powerful ones; that’s how China has worked for thousands of years.

However, perhaps I should clarify that I’m focused not on criminal vs non-criminal, or delusional vs nondelusional.

By the way, not all of China is stupid enough to think fraud and deception are winning qualities. It’s largely the elite there who have fallen for this lie.

YEP. Any prominent academic Anyone in China who gives a speech publicly (or in private) must be sure that the CCP Approves of what he says or else... (I leave his fate to your imagination). Why? Everyone knows that such a person would be arrested, disappeared, tortured, beaten, imprisoned, have organs harvested live without anesthetic, etc

I broke FR rules by checking the source and watching what Ping actually said first. What he said was pro China, anti-Trump, and anti western Liberalism and Globalism. It was in no way a admission about Covid at all.

Every time an American looked at an item for where it was made in it came from China. Now China’s reliance making everything was being threatened by a change in leadership in America which was a major consumer of those products. When Americans hailed their leaders decision to make many of them in their country US. Their politburo worried.

Worse yet opponents to the Chinese regime in power had its citizens protesting its policies , as in Hong Kong, since that change in American leadership, wave the American flag and present Trump’s name when doing so.

All of which presented those in power the need to destroy that leader Donald Trump. In totalitarian political circles this strategy has been reported to be frequently considered Would a runaway plague created by a nation which could threaten populations of an enemy cause them to react by demanding extreme restriction of movement by its population to prevent its spread ? Thus wind up fragmenting its economy and create defeat for that leader’s upcoming election.When they released it that was the CCP intention but it got away from them and went world wide and they should be made to pay
