While the world is watching, it seems as if Hamas is being destroyed.
There is no effective Pali government and what there is is asunder. What we may be looking at is a three state solution. Israel, Fatah/PA and Gaza
While it has the opportunity and the initiative, Israel is going to debilitate Hamas to the point where salvaging by Iran costs more than it is worth.
The actions on the Temple Mount are negotiating points. The Arab world that supports or rather supported the PA will take the Temple mount and throw the PA under the bus
