Maxine Waters, lawmakers, using air marshals as ‘concierge service’ (well, the skanks DO need bodyguards..../s)

Democrat Maxine Waters is among members of Congress accused of turning a tax-paid program to protect airline passengers in the wake of 9/11 into a “concierge service.”..... lawmakers began requesting protection while traveling to and from their districts — and even on vacation. Waters flew to the Chauvin trial joined by Capitol Police and S/S. Waters told reporters that if Chauvin wasn’t convicted, police-hating protesters would have to “stay on the street" and be confrontational.

Air marshal union president David Londo complained to the DHS inspector general that putting marshals on flights “simply because a member of Congress requests it is an egregious misuse of government resources . . . It has become akin to a type of extremely expensive concierge service for Congressional members.”

Waters did not comment to Fox News on the complaint. She then requested two air marshals to join her on the plane and two more to escort her through the Minneapolis airport when she arrived. U.S. Capitol Police denied to Fox News that any of their officers accompanied Waters.

The complaint states that the air marshals were moved off a high-risk flight to accompany Waters. The flight they were moved from allegedly “took off with no armed law enforcement on board leaving a gap in National Security.” “That was not an official business trip,” Air Marshal National Council executive director Sonya Hightower LoBasco told Fox News. “We still don’t have any justification as to why government resources were utilized to fly Ms. Waters out to Minnesota.”

Three days after Waters’ flight, air marshal union president David Londo complained to DHS that putting marshals on flights “simply because a member of Congress requests it is an egregious misuse of government resources . . akin to a type of extremely expensive concierge service for Congressional members.”

This story perfectly encapsulates the idiocy of the left.

Defund the police for you and more police to protect me. Bow down you serfs and recognize that I am your champion.

Would seem you’d have to provide body guards to all 435 House members and 100 Senators.

These people really need to stay in their districts, and “work” from there, period.

Would an Air Marshal be a good body guard. They are TSA employees. US Marshals are trained to protect federal judges, and witnesses in federal programs.

Any Fed LEO that would risk his life to protect these vermin is a fool. Go along with the order, sure, but when the bullets fly, step aside.
