None of it makes any sense. At least it seems to be winding down. I’m sure they will try this same hoax again in the next couple of years, but you have to wonder what the next one will be. I predict alien contact hoax, but not until this has completely been played out.

What I would like to see these "scientists" do is show us tables of data they have collected, and graph that out in some fashion, and point to some spot on the graph, referencing data in the table and make the declaration: "Here! This right here! This gives us the confidence that as of May 13, it is now safe to go outside without a mask. We have reached the moment we have been waiting for, and I am happy to make the announcement."
But, of course, no such thing is possible. It's all arbitrary and not really based on data or science. Some bureaucrat at a desk just woke up and said, "People are antsy. Let's tell 'em they can go outside."
That's as scientific as any of this crap.
