Morel, I usually agree with you but I give the disgruntled conservative voters a little more credit. When it comes down to the vote they won't skip voting no matter how their mouths run emotionally beforehand. Everyone with any sense at all knows we're down to literal warfare with these savage sewage-slurping swine and we have to do all we can do before violence is resorted to. They're too stupid to realize we're far better armed and most of us are long trained and practiced in use.

Seen any of those "Purge" movies? Much like that without the time limitation. And I pray to God we don't get there but the Leftists are provoking and leaving less choice as they continue shoving their agenda down America's collective throat.

I hear you clearly. And there is no doubt, when I post things like this, I am angry and that greatly colors my posts.

That said, after this travesty, there is a DEEP current of discontent, and a widespread belief among many that the voting process is undeniably corrupt, and participating in a corrupt process that not only seems not to be in line to get fixed, but in things like the HR1 bill, is going to be cemented in place to keep it unfixed.

My contention is in no way that the majority of Republican voters will refuse to vote. My contention is that there is a significant portion of Republican (conservative) voters who will not vote.

And it is significant in my view, because it does not take much to swing an election in most cases. Even if it is only 5% of conservative voters who won't vote (and I think the number is much higher-not from an FR echo chamber which all of us are vulnerable to) but in my personal discussions with people who have never even heard of or posted on FR.

I think this is a major concern. We can (and probably should) disagree on the extent, but even if it is 5%, those votes would need to be made up somehow.

You are right, many people say one thing, but when push comes to shove, they will pull a lever for an "R". However, this kind of thing has made many of us reach a limit. I am one.

I willingly voted for Dole, GW Bush, McCain, and Romney, I did so because they were running against Clinton, Gore/Kerry, and Obama. The choices were so horrendous I couldn't help but cast a vote for any Republican.

However, as it has often been said, "There are worse things than dying." Never will I vote for a candidate like Romney again, and sadly, it is not inconceivable that this Republican Party would present us with that dilemma. And if they would do that, there is no bottom to who they would foist on us. I won't take part. And I am not alone.

That is what the Republican Party needs to understand, and I am unsure that they actually do.
