“former President Donald Trump and...”

When did he or anyone in his gang of propagandists ever use the term “‘former’ president Obama”, or, for that matter, “‘former’ Vice President Biden” on the campaign trail? To the point of distraction. ‘VP Biden ‘,

Does Byron York have any clue that he loses all credibility in the first part of the first Sentence?

Most of the GOP and the supposedly fair and balanced media hate Trump. Well most of his supporters run around saying they don’t like him. But they do like him. Tgey vote for home tge go to his rallies and they miss him. They want him back

Byron York is talking to whom? Liberals? Fox doesn’t get that being fox liberals won’t read or watch them. Ever. There’s only a handful of fox viewers who hate trump as much as fox contributors

They’ll never get it

We need a stable of fighters.

DeSantis has many strengths but the Florida unemployment payout issue will be raised.

Florida was not alone in having unemployment claim problems - California had even worse unemployment claim problems.

If Trump campaigns from his basement, with no rallies and can’t read a teleprompter nor go off script during a speech, then I will say that he’s too old, but if Trump is still Trump, 78 is just a number.

It’s funny that Byron thinks a Cotton or Haley would be a strong candidate in today’s Republican Presidential Primary.

President Trump did not lose the election. It was stolen from him.

100% true.

York: If you think Joe Biden, who is 78 now, is too old to begin a presidential term that will not end until he is 82 -- then the same will apply to Trump.

And with that, York sailed off the road into very deep weeds.
Trump is a physical dynamo. Biden is a potted geranium.

...those voters who appreciate Trump's accomplishments in office and the changes he brought to the GOP, but at the same time believe it is time for something new.

I know this is perhaps a bit against the grain of most Freepers, but I'm leaning toward hoping that Trump will play the role of party boss in '24, and allow a younger -- but in the Trumpian mold -- candidate to run like perhaps DeSantis, Pompeo, or Paul.

Trump could still have an enormous influence on our elections for the foreseeable future by selecting, promoting, and backing candidates who fit the vision he has built for the Republican Party.
