An Army basic training recruit escaped from Fort Jackson and, brandishing his M4 training rifle, hijacked a school bus full of elementary schoolchildren in nearby Columbia, South Carolina, Thursday morning.
“He told the bus driver he didn’t want to hurt him, but wanted him to drive him to the next town,” Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said during a Thursday press conference.

How did they turn on Kyle Rittenhouse and what is SNC?
“This current military could never win WWII.”
I’ve formed an opinion about WWII’s French. They were probably the most liberal nation on earth back then and as a result their military suffered. They were so easy for the Germans to just walk all over. I’ve read accounts of where the Brits and French were together, the frogs would hide while the Brits fought. Then the Vichy govt did nothing but collude with the enemy.
So yes, our military could not win WII or WIII. The good news, is if CWII breaks out, they will lose their rears there too.
Buggery on the high seas, nothing new.
We had a guy discharged for just that in 1973. Semper Fi.
During the 60s, a dope who later became a college classmate stole a tank to evade deployment to Vietnam.
1989, I don’t know if the guy wet the bed, but he was peeing in the corners of the squadbay. Same result.
That’s different than just asking your sergeant and being let go. You’re referencing a failure-to-adapt chapter separation which requires medical, behavioral health, chaplain, and career counseling over several weeks. It’s possible, and I’ve only seen a handful over 19+years. The Army doesn’t do it often because everyone thinks they’ve made a mistake about a week in to basic training. They don’t want it to happen often because then everyone would request it.
" Buggery on the high seas, nothing new. "
Of course it is new: rather than being something shameful and hidden, it is now promoted and celebrated.Being a manifest Christian is what is now increasingly treated as shameful and to be hidden.
In my USAF basic in 1981, one of the guys cried all night, the first night. He asked to go home in the morning. He was 18, and the very first night he spent without his parents in the house.
Rather than give him a discharge, they gave him orders to go home, and report back in three months.
Presumably he will be tried under civilian South Carolina law.
“It is a volunteer force.”
It is a contracted job with rules to breaking the contract. Not that easy.
And how did he get a weapon out of the armory? Young recruits don’t sleep with them and I’m not surprised about no ammo. That’s normally passed out at the range after they pick up their weapons. putting young people on a bus to go to the range with ammo in possession is foolish. If this is not the case, they are wide open for someone to accidently shoot someone.

We need to remember him here on Veteran’s Day. I’ve heard for years here on FR that those that served in the military are special and deserve more benefits.
I guess Fort Jackson still sucks.
Me thinks he was not making friends in basic training. His face looks like he may have been the guest at more than one “blanket party”.
The hell with Black Rifle Coffee. They turned on Kyle Rittenhouse SNC supported BLM. Despite their stylish operator beards, they are pussies. I don’t even like seeing their name anymore

I agree completely. Kyle Rittenhouse is 100 X the American that any of these frauds are.
Could of just said he was gay.... Oh wait that doesn’t work anymore.
A school bus driver in Norfolk, MA is in trouble for carrying a loaded handgun on his bus. He has become a pariah in the local community. Different circumstances, but he’d be a hero in other states
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
What states do you think would consider him a hero for leaving a gun in the back of a bus where boarding students would then find it? Which is exactly what happened?
I don’t know if you intentionally left that out for some reason but I have no idea how you could have heard that story and not heard what the actual facts were.
