Arkansas Republican Gov. Asa Hutchinson said Wednesday evening that it's a "bad look" for the GOP to move on ousting Rep. Liz Cheney from party leadership amid her continued opposition to former President Donald Trump.
"In terms of Liz Cheney, she's a conservative, she did a vote of conscience and she should not be ousted because of one vote of conscience," Hutchinson told CNN's Erin Burnett on "OutFront" of Cheney's vote to impeach Trump after the January 6 insurrection at the US Capitol. "And regardless of the reasons of what's going to happen in the vote, and it sounds like she's almost recognizing that she's going to be replaced -- but this is going to be perceived by the American body politic as an ouster because of one vote. I don't think this is healthy for our party -- that perception. We've got to get back to talking about ideas and how to unify ourselves."

The isolation and closing off of Liz Cheney may be a “bad look”, but like the surgical removal of a tumor, it is necessary and imperative.

They are the GOP of old, looking out their rear view mirrors hoping for the glory days of Bush and not wanting to accept the new power of Trump they see through their windshields going forward.
I doubt there are but a handful of Trump supporters who have given up on him and want to go back to the good old days of being a losing, ineffective and spineless Republican party.
I don't know where these RINOs expect to get their support from but it will not be from me.
