There are no jobs Americans will not do: Liberals say we need undocumented workers to do jobs Americans won't do. Is that true? No.

Ditto, prior to the massive influx of illegals after the 86 amnesty, Americans did all those jobs.

As a former men’s dorm toilet cleaner, i agree with the article. except now IT might have more visa workers from india. Also, i detest the misuse of the word liberal to describe avowed communists. Rush did it (only thing i didn’t agree with him on) and it undermines the true nature of these people.

There is no labor shortage nor are there any jobs Americans won’t willingly and effectively fill.

But not at sh!t wages.

Anyone expecting people to work for $15-$20 an hour with less than 5 weeks vacation and health care should just close up shop now and save the whining.

Anyone saying “But that’s a *starter* job, and not supposed to pay for a house, sending your kids to college and having a good life” is living in the 20th century.

Translation: “We need illegal aliens to drive down wages.”

After watching Americans sit on their asses collecting my tax dollars instead of going back to work, even with businesses practically begging them, offering higher wages, I don't give a crap anymore.

This nation desperately needs complete economic collapse and a culling of the lazy. Like the Great Depression generation, perhaps the survivors will develop an appreciation of the basic realities of life, and the hard work that is required to sustain it. The rest can die for all I care.

Get rid of the government gravy train for able bodied persons and suddenly there won’t be any jobs Americans won’t do.

That’s the competition. The Biden 6 trillion dollars in 3 months budget.

That's it exactly. The government is the competition for wages. As long as they offer a financial alternative to doing real work, then there will be no incentive to "change jobs" and that may lead to labor shortages.

Same here. I’ve picked potatoes, filed documents, built videocassette boxes, delivered telephone books, babysat, swept factory floors. All of which helped me take my higher education opportunities very seriously.

hell they won’t even go back to the jobs they already have!

UE pays ~$60 more a week than $15hr

The only problem we have regarding employment right now is all the free money Biden is throwing around. Just a simple drive downtown shows that almost every business around here is hiring, but no one is applying. It has nothing to do with illegal or legal. Those illegals who aren’t gang bangers and drug runners are workhorses and would be a positive addition to the workforce IF THEY CAME HERE THE LEGAL WAY. Our biggest problem is the numbers of entry level workers who prefer to sit on their asses and collect money they did not earn, while the working stiffs are squeezed dry by the corrupt jackasses in DC.

“Only a small percentage of illegal aliens are working in agriculture.
They have taken over most of the construction, food processing and hospitality jobs.”

But most of the people working in agriculture are illegals.

The ironic thing about illegals is that they may end up being at the upper end of society in a generation or two. The reason I say that is because it takes a certain amount of initiative, risk taking, courage and intelligence to get into this country illegally. All qualities necessary for success.

I hope we don’t spoil them by making it too easy for them once they enter the country, which we are starting to do.

Having said that I’m not in favor of illegal immigration. I want to know and select who comes into this country, because with an open border you allow bad people to come in.

Only about 5% of all illegal aliens who are employed in this country work at jobs that have anything to do with agriculture.

There are lots of jobs that LIBERALS perhaps would not take, but real Americans can and have seized the opportunity to do each and every job that has to be done, sometimes disagreeable and tough, and do it for fair wages.

Even when the job seemed to have little prestige or glamor attached.

Take it a step further: if businesses have to raise the wages up to compete with uncle sugar, then it will mean that one in every three people competing for a position in the private sector can not be hired even if they need the slot. Their won’t be enough funds to replace the loss of balance at current levels and by the time they can hit a happy medium with price increases and shopper traffic losses due to raising prices, the second of three will be laid off due to HR expenses alone. And they are now down below what they had for employee numbers to begin with. (And quality service to keep the income coming)

Okay....

I lived in SoCal..grew up there.

I saw with my own eyes....American's losing their jobs to illegal aliens,

Roofers, Carpenter's, Gardeners, Cement workers, Swimming pool cleaners,..etc...

THESE ARE JOB's that were stolen.

These are not jobs American's won't do....

...living conditions are often deplorable,...

Overcrowding and substandard housing are no reason not to keep a dwelling clean and orderly. The landlord did not bring in the roaches, rats or bedbugs, or cause damage to the home.

A nice new house is being built near me, a major source of entertainment around here. And often discussed.

I have noticed that ALL the younger workers appear to be Hispanic.

If you sweat on the job, the younger workers are all Hispanic.

Landscapers, tree trimmers, concrete work...

One of my neighbors says, on the larger jobs, they receive minority preference and Anglos cannot compete?

This is the lib take on illegal aliens: There are jobs that are so filthy, so vile, so revolting, that Americans won’t do them. But they are just right for little brown people, who are so dumb they’ll evendo them for the crap wages we force on them.
