Unfortunately, in NE, No Gun signs Do have the force of law, and no particular wording is required. Therefore, if they wanted to, prosecutors could come after this guy.
In many states, No Gun signs Do Not have the force of law and mean nothing unless you are discovered. Then, if asked to leave you must do so or you will be guilty of trespassing.
The lesson here is two fold. Know your laws and concealed means concealed.

Colorado law is the same . No gun signs on businesses are not legally binding. Some theaters have a small sign in the lower left corner which are only seen if one knows where to look. Still ignored by responsible citizens (and, ofc, criminals)
