I have posting about your posted reality whenever someone posts these stories of bad school, bad math and bad science.
That means more job security for our adult offspring, those in college now and those who will be ready for college soon.

Not quite. Those people from India or China who are good at math can make slightly more bucks than they would in their home country, while we get screwed.
Let’s hope there are not a lot of woke engineering hires in the bridge or sky-scraper building fields...

It’s not our problem that some folks can’t SEE magnetic field around wires carrying current, some folks don’t worry about eigenvalues escaping the unit circle, and some sure can’t handle integration by parts. Glad Oliver Heaviside did not go to these “screw-alls” formerly called schools.
True, but the parents of such children are usually also smart enough themselves to work around the school’s deficiencies.
The ones who will really be hurt will be the smart kids of stupid parents.
