I saw the video. That was one of the most justified and well timed shootings I’ve ever seen. She was just about to plunge in that knife and was stopped dead in her tracks thanks to that cop. It played out like a movie.
Anyone - ANYONE - who chooses to blame the cop for that shooting is exposing massive bias that negates any opinion they may have on race relations or cop activity.
He was already dealing with a guy assaulting a woman, so I was
surprised he was tuned into the girl with the knife as well.
Pretty amazing that he was able to save that girl from a
likely fatal stabbing.
Anyone who criticies that cop after watching that video is part of the problem.
Let me cut to the chase and say that Val Demings is going nowhere beyond the House.

Black cops are just as likely to kill black suspects as white cops.There needs to be a new paradigm when the media ramps up white cop kills black narrative with video at 11. They’re required to show the shootings of black cop kills white or hispanic to create some balance. We’ll even let them throw in black cop kills black. Not that the black cops did anything wrong, but it goes a long way in countering the racist BLM and media fake narrative

Yep. This shooting has become a litmus test for me. Anyone who questions the cop’s actions has exposed them self as a hopelessly biased leftist, and has impeached their own opinion on any and all subjects political/social.

I have several times.
Every time I watch it I think that the girl in pink is very lucky to be alive and should thank that officer every day for the resto of her life.
Had that officer not been fast and accurate with his side arm she could have been stabbed or the officer could have shot bother young women to death.
As I see the video, the body of the woman with the knife was half obscuring the woman in pink. That means when observing from the officer’s perspective, in two dimensions, the two women presented one target.
Of course the officer could easily discriminate the two targets but it remains that a small error in the short time the officer had to sight his weapon to his target could have meant the death of the woman in pink.
Even a bullet passing through the woman with the knife could have struck the woman in pink causing injury or death.

It's probably a statistical anomaly, because Santa Clara County is equally split between, Asian, white, and Hispanic, but the black population is less than 2%.

She was Orlando Chief of Police, and the hubby was da sheriff - and she should have been fired for leaving her gun in her vehicle.
