With the threat of House censure safely behind her, Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters of California went on the offensive against a judge who took issue with comments she made about the Derek Chauvin trial.
Last weekend, during an appearance at a protest in the Minneapolis suburb of Brooklyn Center, Waters referenced the Chauvin trial prior to the guilty verdicts against the former Minneapolis police officer in the death of George Floyd last year.
She said at the time that if Chauvin was not found guilty, “We’ve got to stay on the street and we’ve got to get more active, we’ve got to get more confrontational. We’ve got to make sure that they know that we mean business.”

This looks good on her, going after the judge! We should encourage her to step up her game! She needs to be more confrontational; make sure he knows that she means business.

The judge was 100% right but to say that she’s “Targeting” him is simply false. She’s just arguing that he’s wrong. This article is clickbait.

As much as I despise her and her ilk, you’ve got to admire their absolute discipline: always, always, always be on offense.
We care about fairness, they care about power.
As someone suggested, Maxine and Biden wanted a mistrial, because they need to keep the rage stoked. Now, Maxine is probably hoping for a good result for Chauvin on appeal. Never underestimate how evil these people are. They want more riots and they want to keep the ghetto enraged. They want more police shooting black folks. Their ultimate goal is the elimination of local police and sheriffs to be replaced by a federal police force that answers to DC.

Agree, but that doesn’t mean we can’t take a page from their playbook to frustrate their drive for power. Republicans seem to always back down at the first clash of battle.

There is reason to believe Maxine was welcomed in Minneapolis, at least by the majority there. After all, they elected Ilhan Abdullahi Omar to congress.

I just cannot wait to send an election check to her opponent
and I hope she is ousted from office.
She doesn’t even live in her district.
She needs to be prosecuted.
Maybe her crew will burn down the courthouse.
