OFFS! Anyway, wasn't there something posted recently about jen psaki of crap saying it's the governments job to "motivate" us to buy electric vehicles? Ford is already headed there and it sure sounds like the other two are going too leave little choice other than buying used polluters to drive. Until the IC engined cars are outlawed. Which appears to be sooner that we would like.

The infrastructure is not going to be cheaper. I’m betting the over all costs to build the infrastructure will be millions of dollars per mile.

And when the power goes out due to a storm, you won’t even be able to drive away.

All those cars will be ‘cheaper’ when they are Found On Road Dead & there NEVER were enough power plants to keep them all running.
To: rktman
The cars may get cheaper to build but the electricity will get more expensive to produce.

Coal fired cars emit far more carbon than a conventional gasoline powered car.

Wonder how one escapes a hurricane in an electric vehicle?
Wonder if the people supporting this have ever seen a lithium mine? A coal fired power plant?
Look Mommy, it’s magic. Electricity comes out of the plug.

One of the best things about Trump being elected was seeing this MORON Mcah-thy bounced out of the government.
It’s nauseating to see her back.

Coal fired cars emit far more carbon than a conventional gasoline powered car. The solution to that is obvious: ban coal. Ban nuclear too. Ban wind power because of the birds. Ban solar because of the environmental impact. Ban pgracking because .... earthquakes? Just ban it all to be safe.
If the commies get their way we'll be living in caves huddled around a fire for warmth. They will go on living in luxurious palaces driving limos and flying on private jets.

I’m still waiting for an explanation on what they are going to do with the batteries that can’t be recycled. Where will they end up?????

The cars might get cheaper but the Power Grid will have to get a LOT more expensive.

Take it over a mountain pass and that range will drop to about 35 miles.

I bought a new Toyota Tacoma last year.
V6, tow package, 4wd.
Paid cash.
How much incentive would they have to provide to convince me to buy something electric?
If it was free I would not give it space in my driveway.
Got a program for that?

Rebates and credits increase demand. Increasing demand results in increased prices. Did Gina not take Econ 101?

I thought it would be funny to buy an all electric vehicle, and always tow around a small trailer with a generator and some gas cans.

Just put them over there next to all the worn out wind turban blades.
