Just for reference: India has 4 times our population, our worst day was a bit over 300,000 cases (so 1.2 million cases in India to be the same proportion). We also had many days over 200,000 case (so 800,000 cases would be needed in India). For deaths, our worst days were 4,000 deaths (about 10 different days), with many days over 3,000 deaths. For India that would mean 16,000 deaths in one day, or 12,000 deaths in one day.

So far, India’s worst day (yesterday) was 350,000 cases and just under 3,000 deaths (also yesterday). Although their numbers are still rising daily, India still has a LONG WAY to go to catch us, during our worst days.
