If only Chauvin had asked one of the cops to ck on where was the ambulance and heeded the concern of officer Lane. Three cops could have tied his legs and rolled him over. 9 min was a long time.
Effect can be, and often is, used as a verb.

It is hard to find any good news for Derek Chauvin tonight.
He can hope that today's action will forestall the need for President Biden to unleash the FBI on him and new, federal charges.
If Chauvin can later get a higher court where the judges aren't controlled by the media to review the case - he might get the state persecution eventually overturned, or a new trial.
He (Chauvin) can pray - like the rest of us - that in four years there will be new leadership at the so-called Justice Department.
Chauvin’s first task is to stay alive while in the custody of Minnesota politicians.

Outside interference should be more than enough to at least throw out the verdict and order a retrial. Add to that witness and juror and prosecutor intimidation.
That being said, a retrial would at a minimum be six months out. Granted state appeals would come first, but the Eighth Circuit might even be inclined to direct an acquittal because of the numerous civil rights violations.
Don’t forget that there should have been a change of venue..

You’re welcome. The term “effect” as a verb or a noun is used in clinical forensics. Distinguishable in clinical write ups from a physical observation of changes in a person’s outward symptoms (for example: the walking gait of a person) which uses the word “affect”. Example: the clinical “affect” of a facial rictus or paralysis is a subjective view, from which potential diagnosis is made as to causality, including complete blood chemistry, allergies, etc.
In this case, imho, the way the prosecution brought in the lab values (used “comparatively”) in established minimums for fentanyl respiratory suppression-— purposely failed to include the many other drugs this addict had on board, in order to totally blame the police officer for the CAUSE of death. This entire case will fail on appeal because of it. Meanwhile— the Commies continue to keep the tonton Macoute riled up, gearing for the summer riot season of created “victims”. In the Comintern playbook since the 1920’s.
