That’s what I learned working corrections, it’s rarely the initial crime that got them put away but a pattern of repeated stupid until it couldn’t be ignored.

Yeah. Obeying the law is kind of on the honor system. Screw up a little, and ya get a summons to answer for it. You can choose to play by the rules, or not. But some folks seem to think they can opt out entirely. The system is rigged against them, so screw it. But the system has a way of dealing with that, too.
