Once the person jumps off the building, the end result is inevitable; anything that follows will not change the outcome.
With Floyd, he ingested the fentanyl and had about 30 minutes to live, give or take. Michael Jackson did it, Tom Petty did it, Prince did it, Dolores O'Riordan did it, and now George Floyd did it.
It seemed to me that Chauvin certainly rough-handled him, and perhaps egotistically defied the crowd who shouted to stop. However, Floyd was going to die from the overdose no matter what Chauvin did or didn't do.
