Just relaying what I’ve heard.

Probably because it’s Minny and people are talking in the courthouse.
They shouldn’t but that wouldn’t surprise me.
I was on a jury in NYC and rode up in the elevator with a group of attorneys (wasn’t sure if they were prosecution or defense) who were telling every detail and joking about the whole thing.
They also referred to the jury as “mental midgets.” I was a juror, not on that case, but it didn’t predispose me favorably to legal arguments...and any reporter in his right mind could obtain info the same way.
