Navalny will die the day Russia crosses the border into Ukraine.

“They despised Poles too, killed over 100,000 of them during WWII. “

LMOA, hell, the Russians killed 20 million of their own people.

Your first point is incorrect and anecdotal. Ukrainians have always hated the Russians.

Your second point has a false premise.

Western Ukrainian radical nationalists and diaspora Ukrainians, living around Chicago area and in Canada, most definitely. Others are a lot more nuanced. It’s just the nationalists are very vocal.

I was born and grew up in Kyiv, so what do I know.

The European Union is estimating that 150,000 Russian troops have already amassed for the biggest military buildup ever near Ukraine’s borders and that it will only take “a spark” to set off a confrontation

Is Ukraine in the EU? Does Ukraine have a military alliance with the EU, or with any EU member state?

The answer to both of these is no.

Did the US and other NATO members promise not to extend NATO beyond the border of the GDR with Poland at the time German unification was on the table?

The answer to that is yes.

We, who have no interests whatsoever in this affair, are recklessly trying to start something we have no ability to finish - AND, we are creating conditions for Germany to develop an independent foreign policy and to act in her own interests for the first time since May 8, 1945, with unforseeable consequences.

Bad, bad, BAD.

Where's the lie?

Give Lemberg back to Austria, so they can have all the gay pride parades they so obviously want.

The Russians will get the rest.

>> They despised Poles too, killed over 100,000 of them during WWII. Well, the Poles ran what is now Westen Ukraine (back then Eastern Poland ) in a rather heavy handed way towards the Ukrainians ethnic majority of the area in the interwar years. There were attempts to Polonise the Ukrainians there by force. The 2nd Polish Republic was trying to prevent radical Ukrainian nationalism, understandably, but regrettably caused more of it. Not that it justifies the atrocities and ethnic cleansing that OUN/UPA did. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massacres_of_Poles_in_Volhynia_and_Eastern_Galicia
” Father Kamiński claimed that in Koropiec, where no Poles were actually murdered, a local Greek Catholic priest, in reference to mixed Polish-Ukrainian families, proclaimed from the pulpit: "Mother, you're suckling an enemy – strangle it."
Things like this just chill my heart. How do things like that happen, I always wonder? People turning on their neighbours with a murderous rage. Makes me wonder, did he always have those feelings and hid them, or did they grow?

Apparently you know what you absorb from the Russian propagandists.

It is historical fact that the Ukrainians despised the Russians. In fact, historians cite a major blunder by Hitler, in not using millions of Ukrainians to assist in attacking mother Russia.

He sure used the Ukrainians as guards in the Death Camps.

1. Russia can invade with impunity 2. It’s none of our business.

“Where’s the lie?”

1. Russia is still under sanctions for their illegally annexing Crimea and attacking eastern Ukraine.

Also, they isolate themselves from the international community by their own actions. There allies, much like China consist of primarily rogue states like Iran and NKorea.

2. It is always in America’s interest to stand up and arm countries seeking freedom and sovereignty. Russia is an enemy of freedom, has a President for life oligarchical dictator, and illegally invades weak countries.

We don’t have to defend Ukraine, Russia is weak enough that sending in anti tank and air weapons, will suffice. We do them somewhat of a favor by keeping them from alienating and isolating themselves, further.

Yep...and killed many in the military who refused to do his bidding.

Hitler, had his strategic moments but screwed up in Ukraine in a big way.

The flaw in this analysis is that, while we are not beholden to Russia, jao xiden can't really do anything to help the Ukrainians. He is beholden to china, and when, not if, china makes its move on Taiwan, xiden isn't going to risk isolating the US from the Chamber of Commerce's slave labor pool. The US will not stand up and arm Freedom seeking Ukraine or Taiwan once the bullets start flying. Especially when our own government is hellbent on destroying Freedom here.

Russia and china will have their territories. The MSM will dote on the wisdom of jao xiden keeping our purple haired SJW warriors out of a foreign conflict so that they can focus on fighting climate emergency inequality. You will get a subdermal chip to track vaccines and white privilege.

Central and Eastern Europe wants Ukraine. Especially the newest members of NATO.

And they want us to get it for them.

We should not ever consider US forces east of the Rhine. Yeah, that means letting Germany go their own way.

And no guarantees east of the Rhine either.

Out of NATO.

>> Bandera’s boys killed a lot of Poles, too.

Bandera wanted an integrally nationalist Ukraine, pretty much in alignment with the other 20th century fascist philosophies like Mussolini. Initially he hoped Hitler would see them as allies to topple Bolshevism, but Hitler was obsessed with his racial theories and viewed Slavs as subhuman.

Historically its Russians, Jews and Poles who are the object of the Ukrainian nationalist’s hate. Right now the Russians are on the top of the list.
