Also, it appears there was a warrant out for his arrest for 1st Deg Armed Robbery. I was pretty upset with the shooting when I bought the media lie that he was a poor back child pulled over for hanging an air freshener from his rear view mirror. He had an arrest warrent out for violent crime with a gun and when the cops went to take him in he resisted arrest, assaulted police officers and may have been getting into the car to get a gun. IMHO, this shooting was justified.
Take note of that video that's been circulating around the Internet of the New Mexico cop who was murdered after making a routine traffic stop. The perp suddenly pulled out a firearm and the cop never had a chance.
