Hubby just got his J & J a week ago. Other than sore arm nothing. He’s 80, minor heart condition.
The others have more Blood Clot issues, Unless you have a major heart issue or Transplant J & J is pretty safe compared to the others.
I won’t be getting 1, between reactions to vaccines, I have a Medium level heart condition. Just recovering from a 2nd major Meniere’s attack. Still not hearing well, and vertigo/ falls. At risk for hip breakage.
All the others are worse for blood clots. COVID causes Blood Clots. LA newly elected Rep died on OR TABLE OF HEART BLOOD CLOTS, HEART ATTACK.
Two healthy friends of mine in their 50’s both dead of massive heart attacks after getting their vaccines.
No thank you to getting vaccinated.

Why does it trigger you so that people made the best choice for themselves?
I’m thinking of starting up a fund to collect donations from all those who want me to get the shot. To cover all potential costs (loss of work, medical bills, etc.) if I have a bad reaction or die.
I’ll even buy the giant cardboard thermometer poster to color in so I can track progress towards my financial goal.

Relatives & acquaintances we rarely hear from have managed to contact us, despite our lack of social media,in the past week. Second statement from them, “I suppose you’ve gotten your vaccine? We have!”
We’re waiting.
BTW, one is an MD whose wife has brittle BP problems and another just had a major spinal fusion that may be due to an autoimmune condition. Most are lefties and that is why we rarely hear from them. Some have relatives who have had major side effects like the Stevens-Johnson skin reactions (which effects all epithelium inside and out of the body).
One is a conservative.
Our MD (who received the vax) said since we had it, we don’t need the shot.
But people are really invested in their decision and I sense they are seeking validation.
I can put 2 and 2 together. All excited to get vaccinated and dead 2 weeks later. One just had physical check up one month prior with a clean slate.
And there are 7.76 billion different immune systems on earth. Clinicians are often challenged with trying to determine what strange and wonderful things a patient's immune system is up to with a non-standard disease case.
We are all working with statistical bell-curves hoping the trend is with the presenting patient's case. Some people have 3rd standard deviation immune systems and thats super aggravating.
In terms of this clotting issue what I am looking for is something that identifies the patient as high risk so they reconsider getting the jab. When there are ~250 / 9 million jabs thats not a lot to work with.
It is a pause if they start it up later this morning. It is more likely to be a suspension.

Me too. For the purpose of timing it between my 8 week Remicade infusions at 4 to 6 weeks. Now that’s gone for now.
No, but pausing it will create an unnecessary emergency response.
I think they’ll release the vaccine once the new batch with the correct ingredients reach clinics by middle May 2021.

Actually a good question (I wouldn’t mind that answer). But again, trust no one and do your own research (especially in this politically correct world), second or third opinion, and be smart when it comes to risking or putting your life in someone else’s hands.
On my last visit my doctor plain out lied to me with a straight face (I overheard his previous conversation with a nurse, I was getting a prescription). After lying to me he sent me to vision clinic (I lost most of my eyesight in one eye overnight).
I went to vision clinic (specialist) and the person that checked me said, “You have a brain tumor.” This was after a two minute examination that took 3 hours. This is a death sentence. So, for two weeks I thought I was dying.
Mad, I made sure I had an MRI. No tumor. Still half-blinded I force my insurance company to let me see another eye doctor (one I researched as the best). This doctor did the right thing and sent me to hospital right away. The steroid treatment mostly gave me sight back (but if done earlier I would have full vision in the eye).
But even the hospital stay outside of the good was a complete mess. They added doctors and at least 10 to 20 unnecessary tests to milk my insurance company. They found nothing wrong with all the extra tests they ran. A doctor would come in and say hi, ask two questions and leave (I am sure charging a hefty sum to my insurance company). It was like a game.
