Actually when I got the Pfizer shot a few weeks ago, I was aware of the blood clot issue. It is worrisome as my family carries a gene that causes spontaneous clots.

• are immunocompromised or are on a medicine that affects your immune system
• are pregnant or plan to become pregnant
• are breastfeeding
• have received another COVID-19 vaccine
It is of note they do not list blood clots in the “reported” side effects.
Yes. It is the second shot that is the issue. Of which I won’t be getting.
They are finding the first shot may be sufficient as it is over 80% effective even after 6 months.
If you got the first shot, you might as well get the other two. In for a penny, in for a pound. The first one did the damage. The people in Africa are gradually wising up as far as the WHO and the other medical organizations telling them to get this shot or that shot. They are killing the people sent out to give it to them. These same people are now conning the sheep over here[the U.S. of A.]. Only they are using Covid-19 as the boogieman. Then they say once one gets the bug juice, one can still catch Covid-19 and one can still spread Covid-19.
My wife and I got the Johnson vax a week ago. I was very glad to get the one and done. No problems since. It was being offered to all veterans and their spouses, any age in Massachusetts. Process was easy.

I find it amusing that the anti-vaxxers are making such a big deal out of these blood clots. The incidence of clotting ten times greater in COVID patients than in vaccinated persons.
Of course the anti-vaxxers will claim there’s no reason to risk the vaccine when the survival rate for COVID is 99.5%. But then the rate of deaths caused by this vaccine is 1 in 7 million. If five in a thousand is ok, then why isn’t 1 in 7 million?
Perhaps because they are not properly tested , rushed to market and the manufacturers are not liable if they hurt or kill you.

I just talked to my gastro regarding the J&J and she told me just get the Mederna shot instead and don’t worry about timing it. I can usually gut it out if I’m late for infusions. I’ll see what happens.

Perhaps, but I’m opposed to masks, social distancing, lockdowns, etc. Nor am I an admirer of Fauci. While I think COVID is serious, I do believe our politicians have vastly over-reacted. I can be all of those things and still support vaccination.
I have no intention of writing an inclusive review of all the false or misleading statements made by the anti-vaxxer crowd.
How about you do what you feel is right for you and respect others choices that do not align with yours?
