Sometimes I'll pull over to let them by but usually I catch up with them at the next stoplight. So they never really seem to get to where they are going much faster than me.

When Dr. Clarissa Cole was doing the required pre-employmen psych evals for police and corrections officers she was disturbed to find that fully half the people who flunked, the too high strung, poor judgement, rage issues, and frank sociopaths were hired despite this:
“No, no, no, he has really strong sadistic tendencies and fantasies of rape and murder, you really shouldn’t hire him”Which begs the question, the question we are not allowed to ask:...and they would.

If you watch the actual video she fires her weapon before the car pulls away while yelling Taser.
She F’ed up big time.
The police chief states she MEANT to use her taser- it was a mistake that she used her gun.

Just watched the video, and I can see a couple things wrong with the way the stop went down. First of all, letting the guy stay so close to his open car door is a bad idea. But the cop not knowing she had her gun pulled (she claims she thought it was her taser), is beyond comprehension. And even if it was a taser, that looked like a less than good situation to let it rip. Several bad decisions. One of them made by the guy trying to flee. I’d say it’s about one third the driver’s fault, and two thirds the cops fault. Negligent homicide might be about right. Lose her job, a few years probation.
No, but it's the new "hands up don't shoot" lie and will now be circulated by the media as the definitive truth.
Why was she shooting him anyway? Stopping him for an air freshener hanging from mirror, as an early report suggests, seems ridiculous. The video shows her in the guy’s face, hyped on anger or a power-trip. She’s now killed a guy on camera and should face justice.

A few points:
1) Police don’t pull people over for air freshners. They pull people over b/c they are known criminals. There were 4 cops on the scene of this stop. That tells me that this guy was targeted b/c he’s a drug dealer or gang banger. They pulled him over based on a pretext, which is legal and done everyday by the police.
2) As with every one of these “unarmed black men” cases, the unarmed black male is ultimately responsible for his demise. He had a warrant. He knew he had a warrant. He knew he was surrounded by the police. The black male caused this whole thing to happen by pulling away from the cops and hopping into the car.
3) Women should not be cops. Period.
4) It appears from the (edited) video that this female officer may have mistakenly used her gun instead of her TASER.
5) This is not a crime. This is an accident. Unfortunately, the taxpayers now have to pay millions of dollars for some out of control Yo and a female cop that panicked and pulled out the wrong weapon.
Queue the copsuckers with “he was a bad one”, “He had photos of guns on his page” and every other excuse for their jackboot licking or or otherwise excusing the cop.
Just stop it, you criminal.
