The headline doesn't quite match the intro sentence. "help provide immediate protection to unvaccinated people who are exposed to the virus" - I guess they mean people exposed but not necessarily testing positive?

I am for this, but, still scratching my head why they won't also try and test existing drug combinations. There is too much hullabaloo around Ivermectin for the CDC/NIH/FDA to just ignore it. They should be running large scale randomized controlled studies. My belief is that if something off the shelf was shown to work, they would have ended the vaccine program.

Ivermectin is not as efficacious, but keep preaching the false narrative. Tell me, why does ivermectin more effectively block transmission and replication of a virus than a synthesized monoclonal antibody?
