Former President Donald Trump called Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell a “dumb son of a bitch” during a donor soiree at Mar-a-Lago on Saturday — and joked that the COVID-19 vaccine should be named the “Trumpcine” in his honor, according to accounts of the closed-to-press event.
Trump veered from his prepared remarks when he lashed out at the Kentucky lawmaker, Reuters reported, citing an attendee at the Republican National Committee dinner in Palm Beach, Florida.
Vice President Mike Pence was also a target of the ex-president’s ire.
Trump said he recently told Pence that he was still disappointed in him for not intervening to stop the congressional certification of President Biden’s election win — something the VP didn’t have the authority to do.

Whatever, it was clear that Pence wasn’t willing to stand on principle in the face of obvious fraud. His voice mattered at the time. It doesn’t anymore.
I’m not going to argue with President Trump I see some folks not doing things like the ones he mentioned and beyond that multiple Supreme Court justices among others.
Here in Pennsylvania I consider the Republicans to be suspects.
Trump was denied control of the GOP state committee going into 2020 and then the election results show two Republicans winning statewide office while Trump trails Biden.
Folks...both Mike Pence & Mitch McConnell are dead politically forever. Both were traitors when Trump and Americans needed them most!!! McConnell should be thrown out as the GOP Minority Senate leader....turncoat that he is!!! Dumb Pence slit his own political throat as a modern day “Judas”!!!
I feel bad for the people who died taking the vaccine (like rapper DMX and Hank Aaron), but in war, there's unfortunately going to be casualties. But Trump introducing the vaccine has disrupted the globalists' plans.
The RINOS are trying to take the party back and it will not happen. Boehner attacking Jordan. Wonder who started the rumors about Gatz RINOS and/or Democrats?
Trump needs a new strategy. He surrounded himself with backstabbers, and took their advise, and look where we are.
I truly believe if he had freed Julian Assange, found a seat at the table for those who wanted disengagement in forever wars things might have turned out differently.
He chose poorly.
Mitch McConnell IS corrupt to the core.
While protecting the “racket”, the “cabal” or whatever you want to call it, Mitch’s inaction exposed himself to the harshest critism.
Trump took the appropriate opportunity to punch back so hard as to destroy Mitch’s “legacy”.

I went to a Trump rally in Grand Rapids MI in 2015. At the end when the stadium was clearing out Trump look up at me standing over a floor exit and pointed and smiled.
I’ll never forget that.
Pay attention to the people DeSantis has in Florida, I think he is building a good team, he can bring the Washington. That’s the advantage I see him having over Trump at this point. You’ve got to have a team in place, and that’s something Trump failed to do, and that was always my concern even back in 2016.
Trump is a deal-maker. He wasn’t even sure if Lara Trump could even beat Rubio, but hopefully he got something from Rubio, and Rubio now can’t stray too far left until after the primary at least. It’s not ideal, but we can’t change everything overnight either.
