Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh and husband of Queen Elizabeth II, has died at age 99, the royal family announced Friday.
Philip and the queen were married for more than 70 years, making him the longest-serving spouse of a reigning British monarch. He was the oldest-ever male member of the British royal family.
Philip was born on the Greek island of Corfu on June 10, 1921, to Prince Andrew of Greece and Princess Alice of Battenberg.

His sister really did give birth on the plane right before it crashed. The were attempting to land because she was giving birth and hit a chimney.

Yes, as an American patriot you should give a hoot. His death will likely put a toll on Elizabeth. She’s no spring chicken. When she’s gone, the world will have to deal with uber lib Chuckles.

.........I have never paid much attention to this man but, my oh my, how I do respect 70 years of marriage to one woman. That fact about this couple is off the chart!! She was quite beautiful in her younger years as well.
