"The View" co-host Meghan McCain called on Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) to resign following allegations that he had sex with an underage girl and compared his scandal to one involving a Democratic member of Congress and a Chinese spy.
"Look, there have always been weird rumors about Matt Gaetz on Capitol Hill," McCain said on "The View" on Monday. "I'm not surprised by this. I'm actually not ... I will say, he should certainly resign. The same way I think [New York Gov. Andrew] Cuomo should resign."

So we have this hyperventilating, smears and accusations as the distraction to the kids in Biden’s cages who are being abused, neglected, sex assaulted and trafficked. It’s so typical.

Her father was extremely lucky the other 4 of the Keating 5 were Democrats and one of those Democrats was John Glenn, first American to orbit the earth. George H.W. Bush’s DOJ “decided” not to prosecute. All five should have been expelled from the Senate through the Senate’s ethics process, and indicted by the DOJ for influence peddling. However, the laws for the people are seldom applied to the powerful.
Did anyone ask Meghan McCain two questions:
1) The Constitution states every citizen is entitled to due process which includes the right to a trial and the right to confront his/her accusers. Are you suggesting Mr. Gaetz is not entitled to his rights under the Constitution?
2) If Mr. Gaetz should resign, shouldn’t your father have resigned when allegations of his influence peddling with Charles Keating were made public?
