For sure a mental issue I would guess unless a crime of passion. I think a lot of these could be from the lockdowns and restrictions making people snap.

Appears to be a neighbor -what could the doctor have done to be murdered? Perhaps shooter thought that doc had opiates in the house? Or wanted the doc to write opiate prescription and he refused?
