Evangelical leader Franklin Graham believes Americans should get the COVID-19 vaccine. The missionary told CBS News that he thinks Jesus would want people to get their shots, and he's turning to Scripture and the parable of the Good Samaritan to make his case.
It's a case that will need to be made clearly if evangelicals — perhaps the most under-discussed group with high levels of vaccine hesitancy — can be persuaded.
"Jesus does tell the story of a man that was beaten and robbed and left for dead on the side of a road, and religious leaders walked past him and did not have compassion, they didn't get involved. But a Samaritan had compassion," Graham told CBS News in an interview. "And he immediately bandaged — he put oil and wine on his wounds and took him to an inn, and paid to have him cared for. Now the oil and wine were the medicines of that day… The vaccine is, to me, I believe, is saving life, and that's what Jesus Christ would want us to do, to help save life. It's just a tool to help save life."
Graham, the son of the late evangelist Billy Graham and grandson of a medical missionary in China, noted that the church has a long tradition of using medicine to help others. Last week, he told his 9 million Facebook followers that his international relief charity, Samaritan's Purse, had seen human suffering from COVID-19 "first-hand," and encouraged people to "talk to their doctor, and pray about it to determine which vaccine, if any, is right for them."

Agree. I wouldn’t take it because of the ridiculously short testing period, not because gubment does or does not want me to take it.
But if people feel better by taking it, by all means.
I’ve never ever had a flu shot either-—and don’t get the flu. Just my DNA.
That gives me the chills.

I’m trying to remember. Which vaccine did the Samaritan give the injured traveler? Pfizer or Moderna? Did he tell the innkeeper, “I’ll be back in a couple of weeks and will give him his second shot then, if he is still alive”?

Bizarre contorted reasoning IMHO...The Good Samaritan took him to an inn...much like a hospital and paid his medical bills...The Samaritan was not required to put oil and wine on himself.
What is going on when these guys...Seems they when they get to a certain point/age, they lose it? I am thinking of Pat Roberts who has said some really bizarre stuff over past few years.
BTW, what is the pro-life stance on the J&J vaccine?
He outed himself as a tare. We didn't have to do anything.
There are Christian based (and others) watchdog non-profits which track ethical vaccine development vs non-ethical vaccine development. They routinely post information regarding which vaccines were developed using aborted fetal cells
No
Prepare to suffer autoimmune disease in three years…
Years ago I spoke with one of our leading vaccine injury treatment MDs about vax in Africa. People here may not realize that at least in the past, we used poor black and brown children as guinea pigs in vaccine development. The MD I spoke to described what sounded like a military campaign to force vaccinate villages in exchange for food, and without regard to whether the individuals there had already been vaccinated previously. She described people abandoning their village and hiding in the countryside to avoid these campaigns, if they had advance warning. She also described meeting a retired developer of the measles vaccine who was distraught over what had taken place in some of the African countries during testing.
I never cared for Billy Graham, but liked Franklin. No more. This is a global deportation and control campaign, and FG seems to be “all-in”.
Hmmm... Maybe I should rethink my generous donations to Samaritan’s Purse.
My body. My choice Rev. Graham.
How many people did this happen to?
2 questions:
Do all the COVID vaccines use aborted fetal tissue?
Do other types of vaccines use aborted fetal cells?
and what makes you think that?
100% of liberals I know ran out and got the shot, trampling each other, bragging about their experience and shaming those of us unvaccinated. I figure NPR must be vaccine pimping. Most Trump supporter friends and family are not getting it, including me.
*******
That is exactly how it is breaking out, according to Gallup. Only 20 percent of Republican men are afraid of getting Covid. But 77 percent of Democrat men are afraid of Covid.

The latest is a family member’s FIL. I know of three in my area They were elderly, but healthy before taking the vaccine
My own doctor warned me about developing autoimmune disease as a result of the body attacking it’s own cells which are perceived to be invaders producing the spike protein.
I also saw a video of another doctor who referenced a doctor practice in CA testing the spike protein on 28 different types on human tissue. Liver, heart and brain were impacted.
