Bums like Boehner are making it so easy to not vote GOP in 2022. It’s quite refreshing not worrying about pulling them over the line to victory.
Boehner smoked in his office, to the point where the offices needed extensive deep cleaning (at great expense to the taxpayer) when he was replaced as speaker... on two occasions. Congress members can smoke indoors inside a federal building because they hold themselves that the rest of America (including the rest of government) must follow. Telling tea party republican congresspersons that they don’t have a brain in their heads when they were specifically elected to stop “business as usual” is just one more example of how little regard swamp creatures like Boehner have for the Americans who put them into positions of power.
If the public actually got to see how much contempt many members of Congress have for their constituents and fellow citizens, nearly no one would dare even stand for reelection, much less be reelected.
