Lol. The three witnesses I saw were all biased. The dispatcher, not so much as the others but somewhat. The blue hair Speedway worker added her hatred for police every chance she could and then the high school wrestler, martial arts expert with vast choke hold experience who described what he saw as a blood choke which later became a kill choke.

As I see it, Floyd started complaining about being unable to breath almost from the beginning of the event, and other times during the arrest and he was not incapacitated but still had robust ability to fight and struggle.. So as he is still claiming he couldn’t breath while on the ground, what were to police supposed to believe?

Choke holds have been a useful tool for cops to subdue a perp. Choke him (or her... let’s be fair) until he passed out, then quit, for goodness sake! However, Floyd did die of an overdose, but as a former cop told me, you don’t kneel on the neck of a handcuffed suspect. Should not have happened.

Following procedure is a very weak defense.

It’s the best defense you can present in a murder case — because it directly undermines an essential element of the prosecution’s case: INTENT.

This case is much weaker than the Freddie Gray case in Baltimore a few years ago — and those cops all walked.

I’ve said for months now that a hung jury is likely to be the BEST the prosecution can hope for.

You might be right, but juries are emotional. There was no actual video of Freddy Gray dying while a cop leaned on his neck while Freddy begged him to let him up and a whole crowd of people were begging the cop to let him breathe.

This case may be weaker from an evidentiary view, but from an emotional view, Chauvin’s “I was just following procedure” defense is a big loser.

I think he’s going down. There’s no getting up from that video.

So you are predicting not weighing the actual facts of the case..ok.you are able to predict how the general public can be manipulated with lies and trigger words. I can predict there will be riots either way based on the general moronatude of the locals in the twin cities. Either way, the facts dont support that chauvan killed GF. The autopsy did not show excessive force was used.

The prosecution probably won’t be able to prove intent to murder, but I think he will be convicted on the unintentional murder charges - third degree murder and manslaughter. He didn’t render first aid to George Floyd fast enough.

The jury gets to determine the facts. The jury is not required to believe the autopsy report. They can draw their own conclusions based on any or all of the evidence presented. They can, if they so choose, base their verdict solely on their own viewing of the film.

I’m betting the film will outweigh all the documentary and testimonial evidence. Based on that video they are free to determine the fact that but for the actions of Chauvin, Mr. Floyd would not have died when he did.

I’m betting that’s what they will ultimately conclude.

Innocent ..... the entire country burns to the ground.

That is the preferred outcome.

They will only burn Blue states and Cities.

He didn’t render first aid to George Floyd fast enough.

FYI

because of the growing and hostile crowd the paramedics didn’t even do first aid at the scene but instead waited until they were a few blocks away

because (enter name here I forgot) was issued

if you watched the body cam video of the officer in the ambulance you can see the delay

There is no guarantee Floyd would have lived if he did do CPR anyways especially if he was overdosing or his heart giving out

so how can that be murder?

also, via radio traffic, the ambulance was only 4 blocks away while Floyd was still alive and talking and the officers knew that

But there is no Reasonable doubt that the actions of Chauvin were contributory to his death. Maybe he would have died in the hospital.

You do realize that those are two contradictory and mutually exclusive statements?

you said that you saw the film for the first time today (I think that was you anyway)

have you seen the full bodycam videos? I assume no

spolier: Floyd says he can breathe many times before he is even on the ground

“Would it not be scientifically possible to cut off blood supply the brain by applying excessive pressure to the carotid artery?”

Do you think that’s consistent with the foothold and Chauvin’s response?

“There is no guarantee Floyd would have lived if he did do CPR anyways especially if he was overdosing or his heart giving out”

But if Chauvin had recognized that Floyd was in medical distress and acted quickly to render aid, and all of that was on film instead of the knee hold, even if Floyd still died, I doubt any of the cops would have been charged with anything because they would have shown regard for Floyd’s life.

“Blood choke”. Scientifically meaningless but emotionally charged term.

this witness was full of emotion and opinion..the jury even had to be excused so they judge could lecture him after several defense objections

said something about he got upset how they said drugs were playing a role because something about they always blame drugs on black men

then said Chauvin “went for the kill” when he slightly shifted his weight (ignoring the fact that Floyd was trying to move)

so what are you saying Chauvin is guilty of? Poor judgement?

I don’t think anyone is saying that it wasn’t poor judgement

it just isn’t murder

perhaps the manslaughter charge then??

The DA overcharged the case to appease the mob IMO

Yes, I think it was manslaughter. Unintentional homicide through lack of care for the restrained man’s life.
