One of the Bloomberg pundits is pontificating that pandemic responses (masking, “social distancing”, and frequent vaccine “boosters”) may become PERMANENT.

True. Adjust for population, though, and California drops down to #29 in COVID deaths per million, just below Washington DC. Statistics are a funny thing.
