Report: Hunter Biden-owned gun left in trashcan near high school, police investigated 2018 incident

Secret Service sought to take possession of paperwork documenting purchase of weapon, were rebuffed by gun shop owner, according to Politico sources.

The Secret Service may have attempted to help Hunter Biden when the president's son lost a firearm back in 2018, according to a news report the White House us disputing.

According to Politico, the Secret Service attempted to take possession of paperwork documenting the transaction of Hunter Biden buying a gun from a gun store in Wilmington, Del., after the president's son lost the weapon.

On Oct. 23, 2018, Hunter Biden purchased a firearm that was subsequently thrown out into a trashcan behind the gun store by Joe Biden's daughter-in-law Hallie Biden. When Hunter and Hallie later returned to retrieve the weapon, they found it gone.

According to a police report obtained by Politico, Delaware police were concerned that the gun went missing since the trashcan was across the street from a local school.

This is when the Secret Service allegedly got involved, according to two people involved in the incident, one of whom had firsthand knowledge and the other of whom was briefed later by a secret service agent, according to the report.

Allegedly, Secret Service agents approached the store owner and asked to take the paperwork documenting Hunter Biden's gun purchase. The store owner refused, saying he suspected they wanted the documents to cover up Hunter's involvement should the gun turn up in a crime. The paperwork was eventually turned in but to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, which oversees federal gun laws.

The gun was eventually returned by a local man who is known for rummaging through trash in the area.

The Secret Service told POLITICO that it had no record of any agents investigating the incident. However, one law enforcement individual said that the Secret Service offices in Wilmington, Del., and Philidelphia kept loose tabs and had an informal part in the then-former vice president and his family's safety.

"President Biden did not have any knowledge of, or involvement in, the Secret Service’s alleged role in this incident, and neither he nor any family member was a protectee at that time," a White House official said, according to The Hill.

The Secret Service in a statement to The Hill stated it had "no involvement in this incident."

Funny, but I’m only seeing this on news sites I’ve never heard of before. Which means, nobody but fringe conservatives will never know about this creep’s crimes. And everybody knows, conservatives have no standing in the new Divided States of AmeriKa.

I had business dealings with a bizzarro sixty-something business owner. He was married, but apparently he and his wife indulged in whatever they could get, three-some’s, four-some’s, a monkey, you name it. And, high on the list was drugs. One day he left his custom make black leather purse, stuffed with cash and a custom made gun on a register at Publix. They used his ID and got in touch, returning the gun, cash and purse, along with a lecture. (The lecture was totally wasted.) I have confiscated my older sister’s guns as she is doing the same thing he was doing, leaving stuff everywhere and not remembering when she last saw it.

I think his craziness was a combination of drugs and age. In Hunter’s case, it’s just drugs. Hunter is very useful, though. He’s easily blackmailed. He can be bought. And, he’s the Big Guy’s cherished son.

Was it an assault style firearm?

Ban Hunter Biden NOW!

He needs a license just to be able to breathe! ( sarc.)

We can’t allow unstable individuals who are drug and sex addicts to bear arms under the 2nd amendment!

RED FLAG!

Thats back when the Ulrainians, The Red Chinese and many others were after Hunter because Hunter did not hold up his end of the deal with quid Pro Quo Joe.

QUESTIONS:

1. Why did Hallie discard the firearm?

2. Why did Hallie dispose of the firearm in the trash?

3. Why did Hunter and Hallie later engage in "dumpster-diving" in an attempt to retrieve the firearm?

4. Why is this story not being used by gun-grabbers as an example of why the general populace is not "mature" or "intelligent enough" to exercise their 2nd-Amendment rights?

“”President Biden did not have any knowledge of, or involvement in, the Secret Service’s alleged role in this incident, and neither he nor any family member was a protectee at that time,” a White House official said, according to The Hill.

The Secret Service in a statement to The Hill stated it had “no involvement in this incident.”

So an inquiring reporter would have 3 options here:
(1) Was the store owner making this up?
(2) Was the Secret Service making this up?
(3) Did someone posing as the Secret Service try to get the records?
(4) Were the “Delaware police” involved in this?

I say it is between 2, 3, 4 and all may be connected. Don’t forget the FIB has a busloads of agents with “good track records” to get things “taken care of”, including making internal records disappear. Good for the owner, for at least refusing to turn it over.

Note to self - You want the records, let me turn on my iphone, take a picture of you and your badge, and record me telling you to get a court order. It will be time and date stamped. Expect to be threatened at that point.

Hunter's activities can be attributed to his drug use and his sex addiction.

Hunter is a very useful global commodity to those who would play the US dirty.

He’s well-connected, easily blackmailed, and can be bought.

After all, he’s the Big Guy’s cherished boy....his "surviving son."

The Red Chinese... and many others..... were after Hunter. Crackhead Hunter did
not hold up his end of the deal to get them official policies from quid Pro Quo Joe.

Good point....Hunter played w/ some very bad people who think nothing of snuffing out a bad player.

It's a mistake the greedy Bidens never contemplated.

There have been quite a few threads on FR about Hunter's lost gun, but this is the first one I've bothered to open. I don't know why I picked this one to read, but here I am.

The reason I've totally ignored the Hunter gun story until now is because I know absolutely nothing will happen to Hunter. He and virtually all important Democrats are above the law and they can do anything they damn well please and there's nothing we can do about it.

Why is the Biden gun story not being used by obsessed gun-grabbers as an example of why the
general populace is not "mature" or "intelligent enough" to exercise their 2nd-Amendment rights?

The Hunter gun story doesnt bolster the gun-grabbers narrative. And besides, his name is Biden....he cant possibly do anything wrong.

Every day we see more and more that we are ruled by an elitist class that looks down on us as unworthy of individual liberty, property rights and self defense.

If we had an honest media and an honest Justice system, Joe and Hunter would BOTH be in jail.

It’s a mistake the greedy Bidens never contemplated.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

And IMHO, it forced Joe Biden to run for the presidency, otherwise he would rather be home in Delaware sipping Mint Juleps at his golf course very afternoon. Now he is paraded out with his fog to be used to obscure the tyranny being developed by these socialists/fascists. The “Fog and the Fugue,” a movie in the making.

There was Quid but no Pro for all those billions in Joe’s cash register. I think the Red Chinese, the Ukrainians and the Russian oligarchs pretty much convinced Joe Biden that his family was about to be wiped off the face of the earth. It could still happen, but a lot of us now would be taken with the old effer.

Two ways to answer your questions, the benign way and the cynical way:

1. Why did Hallie discard the firearm?

Benign: Because being concerned about "gun control" they didn't want that evil firearm in their house. Like good little liberals they changed their mind and "did the right thing" by getting rid of their ill-considered purchase.

Cynical: Hunter wanted to play to his apparently over-sized ego and impulse-bought the firearm. He then wussed-out when his wife demanded he immediately get rid of it.

Even more cynical: Hunter and wife had nefarious plans to use the firearm, wussed out.

2. Why did Hallie dispose of the firearm in the trash?

Benign: Because like virtually every stupid lefitst they really don't know half of what they think they know. They do things based on feelings with little or no regard for the consequences - like improperly disposing of firearms.

Cyncial: It was a "dead drop" for their low-rent stooge who was going to pick it up and use it for something beneficial to the Bidens.

3. Why did Hunter and Hallie later engage in "dumpster-diving" in an attempt to retrieve the firearm?

Benign: They realized that was a stupid, reckless, and negligent way to dispose of a firearm and wanted to do it properly.

Cyncial: They screwed up their courage (flip flopped like dear old dad) and decided to go through with whatever nefarious purpose they had originally purchased it for.

4. Why is this story not being used by gun-grabbers as an example of why the general populace is not "mature" or "intelligent enough" to exercise their 2nd-Amendment rights?

Benign: because they realize the Bidens are a completely {censored}-up family and not representative of the populace as a whole.

Cynical: because it would cast a lefty/liberal in a bad light - a decided no-no. Worse, it would cast the Bidens in a bad light, and since they're currently (publicly) at the top of the lefty food chain that would be a "career limiting move" for anyone.

“The gun was eventually returned by a local man who is known for rummaging through trash in the area.”

I’m calling pure, fabricated, bullshit on that statement. Let’s see it, and the paperwork for the purchase.

Contract Joe Biden's son with the children of Donald Trump.

This is a clear indicator of America's children under the leadership of Biden contrasted with America's children under the leadership of Trump.

Joe Biden's daughter-in-law Hallie Biden

I don't know/care much about the Biden family relations, but is she Hunter's wife or not? If she is, why not state that because that would automatically also make her Joe's DIL. Stating she's Joe's DIL does not automatically also make her Hunter's wife. If she's not his wife, how/why did she gain access to the gun and presume to throw it away?

Strangely written article. Claiming the gun was "lost" by Hunter when it seems it was thrown away by Hollie. That's not losing.
