Biden Suffers Four-Second Mental Meltdown, Struggles to Move on to Next Question, During Press Event

Thursday, at his first press conference as president, Joe Biden appeared to forget what he was saying, then become so confused that he struggled to move on to a new topic.

Pres. Biden was addressing the possibility of abolishing or changing the Senate filibuster when he lost his train of thought, looked down, then tried to summarize what he meant to say.

Biden seemed to have increasing difficulty expressing his thoughts, then completely lost his train of thought:

“So, the best way to get something done, if you…if you hold, it near and dear to you, that you…uh, uh, like to be able to, uh - well, anyway.

“I, ah…we’re ready to get a lot done.

“And, if we have to, if there’s complete lockdown and chaos as a consequence of the filibuster, then we’ll have to go beyond what I’m talking about.”

Biden, then, appeared to continue to be confused as he tried to refer to his notes to call on the next reporter:

“Okay, um – hang on…ah, sorry. Oh. Same name, Miss Kim.”

Answering the next question, Biden recovers, somewhat, though he pauses and has trouble continuing, at one point. By the following question, he appears to get back on track.

Totally agree.

I can't imagine letting my husband be open to ridicule like Biden is.

During the Cold War, the Russian news media and government used to make all sorts of claims about how great the Russian society, economy, and government was at getting things done and the quality of their goods and services. We used to laugh and say how could the Russian people believe their BS and propaganda.

Now the US is doing the same BS.

but what I’ve seen of dementia is that it’s can be decline, not a total crash

I don't know; from this article it sure looks/sounds like a "crash" to me.

What are our enemies thinking after this "press conference"? What are our allies thinking after this "press conference"?

Is that dementia? I’ve not been around enough dementia patients to know the signs. It’s not normal, that’s plain to see. He lost his train of thought, rambled, tried to continue, ended his sentence. I’m not saying he’s coherent, but he recovered and managed to stay somewhat on topic. What was that?

It's called "IRISH DRUNK BRAIN". Biden is an old blowhard Irish drunk.

Here in Hawaii, the Hawaiians are always calling anything and everything, “the kind”..
very confusing and annoying :^P

(It reminds of of that every time PedoJoe says, “the thing”.)

Biden quote from today: So, the best way to get something done, if you…if you hold, it near and dear to you, that you…uh, uh, like to be able to, uh - well, anyway.

Isn’t that on a par with things such as Benjamin Franklin saying
“They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.” ....and
“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.”

"It’s not an exact progression, but he reminds me very much of my mom in her last 2 years. It’s going to get worse, and forget 4 years from now."

I agree. My father-in-law had a rough last few years, and it wasn't a smooth decline. Every time he fell or had a medical procedure, he suffered a drop in cognitive function. As his condition worsened, balance deteriorated and he was more prone to falling. Judgment became unreliable. He didn't want to give up driving, but he had accidents like using cruise control inappropriately and crashing into the back of his own garage. In many respects he could still reason until very late in the disease process, but his memory was shot full of holes. He remembered things from long ago better than anything recent. He carried his own phone number in his pocket but he got to where he didn't know how to use a phone in the last year. He became disoriented on familiar roads when we took him for a drive. Because of delusions, he became very fearful. It is a horrible condition. Much as I dislike the man, putting old Joe in a position of responsibility in this condition is elder abuse.

These are not “press” conferences and shouldn’t be referred to as such. They’re outright Propaganda Conferences.

It absolutely is, and some of us here have been saying this since 2019. Your father-in-law sounds so much like my sweet Mama. I could tell you stories, but they are so much like your own. It’s a cruel disease.

Yes, this is dementia. I've seen this when my late mother was succumbing to Alzheimer's. I saw behavior like this and worse in the three nursing homes I worked in. Some dementia patients can be violent. Biden is exhibiting a condition called ''aphasia''. It's common in not only dementia patients but in the elderly in general. It's a condition where an elderly person has trouble remembering names, has memory lapses, difficulty forming words.

Dementia is a gradual and irreversible decline.

There are seven forms of it.

It truly is like watching “Vremya” with them praising the speeches of the slurred stroked-out Brezhnev.
