An increasing number of Americans are engaging in more activities in the last month alone as the world passed the one-year mark of the Chinese coronavirus pandemic, an Axios/Ipsos survey released Tuesday showed.
The survey, taken March 19-22 among 995 U.S. adults, asked respondents to indicate their habits, asking if they have gone out to eat or visited friends or relatives in the last week.

I was going out to eat months ago. I’ve been going to church since June.
Welcome to the club, newcomers.
Tell me about it. Even in darkest, shadowyest days in the valley known as the coronavirus, with all the businesses that were shut down, traffic in our little spamlet never really lightened up. Where are all you people going!?
Are you freakin' kidding me?
I guess I'm a walking, asymptomatic super-spreader. I've been going to restaurants for as long as they've been open around here, which has been since last summer. (It's my way of economically supporting restaurant owners and their staffs); I've traveled by car and plane; I've recently started going back to the gym, and about three-quarters of the people don't wear masks, either.
I'm still wondering what "sign" people are waiting for, or which politician or organization they'll believe, should we ever receive the "all-clear."
I’ve been a no-masker the whole time and in the last couple weeks, I’m seeing fellow travelers of all colors and creeds also walking around “naked”.
We smile knowingly at each other.
been going out the entire time and ignoring Gov DahWhine,
Residents of the Rocky Mtn states used the viral shutdowns as a chance to go to the lakes, hills and deserts.
Stinks to be the rest of you. Don’t move here.
We never stopped visiting friends and relatives or holiday celebrations.
Our large extended family gave up on the social distancing and masks last Mother’s Day. We’re gonna gather for Easter this year. And I’ve been singing in the church choir since July. Some of actually got the CCP virus, some of us got the Pfizer vaccine. None of us lived in fear.
I don't agree with that. I live in a down state Illinois metro area. 70% of people are not wearing their masks when leaving the house. Maybe 10% at most. It is more like 70% put their masks on in the car before entering a business.
The Colonel’s wife and I were just noting at one of our favorite Mediterranean restaurants that all the places we’ve been out to eat in the last 2 weeks are much busier.
GOOD.
A few restaurants didn’t survive. Kobe’s in Addison bit the dust. Peggy Sue acrocss from SMU. Highland Park Cafeteria, but it has been struggling for years. Dakota’s in downtown Dallas (I never ate there).
But all-in-all, there always seems to be a fairly high turnover in restaurants, and I’m not sure that it is that much higher than normal.
There will never be an all clear.
