No one is really tracking or doing numbers....but it would be curious to know if 99-percent of the crossing folks were NON-Mexicans.
It would appear from the juvenile ‘game’ being played out....those are almost all NON-Mexicans.
Oddly enough, Trump and AMLO seemed to get along quite well.

My guess is that Mexico is doing this to give priority to dumping its own Mexican citizens into the US. They don’t want competition, nor do they want the hordes coming into their own country.
only tracking what they catch but the southern border is running about 40% mexican and 60% other - most western coastal south american, but a good helping of ‘other’. Here’s a 2019 headline that says 50 different nationalities; probably hasn’t changed much, with middle easterners channeling through europe and cubans flying into a secondary country then into Mexico.
