The Worthless Wall Street Journal is banning its reporters from using the terms “illegal immigrant” and “illegal” when referring to illegal aliens living in the US.
In an update in ts style guide, the WSJ, which owned by billionaire Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp., stated that while it will allow reporters to continue using the term “illegal immigration” to describe the process of illegal aliens arriving and staying in the US, it will no longer allow reporters to describe individuals as “illegal” or “illegal immigrant”.
It is, they said, all in an effort to stop “labeling people.”
There is no such thing as a illegal immigrant, they are illegal aliens.
The drive-bys are using "migrant" is it is NOT a derogatory euphemism. At least not yet. But give them time.
That's why I prefer "criminal alien." It describes these border jumpers perfectly. It is a criminal act to enter the US without an invitation and they are not natives, thus aliens.
Bty, whatever happened to the “Wall” that was supposed to keep persons from illegally entering our country in the first place???
Calling BS at the reason. They label people all the time. This is just big business selling out America yet again.
How about “undocumented U-turn” while driving?
Cesar Chavez came up with that name and Joe Biden has a statue of him in his office. He’s a such a freakin’ moron he doesn’t even know who Chavez was or what he represented. Chavez hated illegals as he knew they weakened his union and sent wages down, he would even confront them at the border and called them “wetbacks” from swimming over the Rio Grande. And here is open borders Biden with a statue of the guy and all the freakin leftist Latinos were praising him. Is history even taught anymore in schools or is that just completely off the table like civics?
Is “White Supremacist” out? What about “Trump Supporters?”. What about “Deplorables”. Bring it.
It is, they said, all in an effort to stop “labeling people.”

Will they still use the terms “Far Right”, “Right-wing”, and “White Nationalist”?
Is not calling someone a migrant a form of labeling?
I really like Criminal Invader. Much more descriptive than Illegal Alien or Migrant.
So using adjectives in connection with persons is right out.
