People may have lost some interest in politics after The Year That Was, but they’ve lost more of it at CNN than at its competitors. Variety reports that all of the Big Three cable news networks have seen significant declines over the last three months, although Fox News Channel has managed to hold the decline down to single digits. CNN, however, has seen their prime-time viewership drop dramatically over the last three months, and Variety chalks that up to the disappearance of CNN’s favorite prime-time punching bag (via Twitchy):
Our prediction that audiences would perk up for President Trump’s second impeachment trial proved correct. But in the weeks after the trial ended, audiences for CNN have plummeted; MSNBC is seeing about half CNN’s drop, while Fox News is down single digits. While the left-leaning networks may be losing steam without the ability to feed off of Trump being in office, conservative audiences have found new focal points for their concerns. …
Beginning first with total audience, it’s clear that CNN is the network that misses Trump the most. Trump-bashing tirades lack their zip with their protagonist taking on a much lower profile post-election, with “CNN Tonight with Don Lemon” and “Anderson Cooper 360” seeing their average audience in the first week of March one-third lower than the first week of December.
CNN isn’t the only network to see declines, but they are the most pronounced. MSNBC’s drops are around half of what CNN saw, with Chris Hayes (-16.7%) and Lawrence O’Donnell (-17.6%) seeing steeper declines than total primetime news leader Rachel Maddow (-9.1%).

Amen. Crapper Wallace and Fox, just too much.
I believe the 1st time I used it (link below) — though, I’m not interested in the attribution — unlikely I’m the originator. Correct on the analogy ;)

I stopped watching any TV news the day they stole the election.
You must have missed the great technology job reductions in 08
We all had to go to bankers box assembly class....so we could box up our desk contents prior to being terminated.
you did indeed capture a good example of the constant CNN tripe.
If you’re not listening, or watching, suggest everyone turn in Monday through Friday 3 hours a day to Stephen K. Bannon. Awesome shows, guests, interviews, insights, all too good to pass up.
Anything I can do to assist, let me know.
Cheers...
Internet for TV is a better deal than dish anyways. You can pick and choose exactly what channels you want to have or not have, and plenty are either free or have a free trial period ranging from one month to as much as one whole year in some cases.
I live within 5 hr of Atlanta, but I’m not selling my tv for $5 as you knew when you made the offer. Shame on you for trying to take advantage of a feeble, almost chair/bed ridden old man.
I quit them way back in 2015, since the Megyn Kelly debate.
CNN can always pray for more Malaysian airliners to disappear so they can bore their audience 24/7 with coverage of missing airliners. If they were commercially smart, they would have backed Trump for a second term so they would have their punching bag around for another 4 years to pound him 24/7.
Sooo, whose watching TV? There are much better things to do, like waiting for the next Trump rally!
Sorry, what do you need to pay $100 bucks to set up for you? The stands have 2 screws on each side(get a neighbor to lift it for you). Put the TV on the stand and hook up your HDMI cable from your cable box into you HDMI ARC port, and antenna (if you have one) to the coax connector. Then just turn it on and it will walk you through the set up and connect to your network, discover the channels and you are done.
Put in your model or Samsung Tv set up in Youtube and theres videos on how to do it. Then send FR the $100 bucks I saved you doing it yourself.
Uh, no, you don’t understand. It’s a cabinet/stand. With dowels and many other parts, and will probably require two people to assemble because it’s so long.
Plus I have other things that I need done with it and the old tv. If I can get what I need for $100, I’ll be happy.
Having no cable TV at home, I literally have not seen one second of cable news in years. My health, especially my mental health, is much better for it and I’m way better informed on what is going on the world.
