While driving today, I was listening to various radio stations with which I was not familiar. A talk show host, whose name I did not get, was called by a well-informed Trump supporter. When she said that the media steps in and ends whatever public appearance Biden has when he messes up, the talk show host said that he had “not noticed that”. He is either willfully blind, doesn’t watch Biden‘s public appearances or only watches them on the Ministry of Truth media where, perhaps, they have a 10 second delay and quickly go to a commentator when the screen goes blank on Biden.

I saw such phrases as, "most of America’s media look the opposite manner," "Biden was on high type," "what an extended run-up he requires," and, "his autocue strains in an tackle in Texas"--you get the point. The author is using, what I believe, are well understood British expressions that also left me wondering. If I had another explanation, I would say the writer was imitating someone who had dementia and was fumbling with phrases to explain what he meant for phrases he forgot. For me it was how I would react to Hiden Biden who was driving me crazy.
